Those first few months of beginning a business.Beginning a business, I found a novel experience to start with but once I got over the learning hump, I have found it to be great. If you have just decided to work fom home and have recently joined a multi level marketing company that sells a product or service, you may find it to be a mine field to start with. Your new, have a million questions and your upline is not as helpful as you had hoped for in your circumstances. And in this age of technology, they are interstate or overseas. What do you do? You have bought the recommended literature, done the reading but it still is not happening like you would have hoped.

Building a strong business base takes time, effort, learning from negative experiences, being rejected, building a plan, evaluating your efforts and add a sprinkle of positivity.Perserverance and you will pervail!! Here are some pointers To start out, choose an mlm company with a product. Something you would personally buy. If you want to try a new one, just launched in Australia and New Zealand and heading to America shortly, try this one. Its different and it has an edge. Do a bit of research independantly about the product. You have to be convinced that this product fills a niche. Note: if you have to pay large amounts of money to join, I would not recommend that you get involved until you have had some experience at this form of business. Even then I would still be very cautious If you pay a small nominal fee to join as an annual administration fee then thats acceptable. Better still if there is no fee, but make sure you are happy with the product. Ask yourself - would I buy this? You don't need to spend large amounts of money to get up and running. The company I joined has a minimal administrative joining fee, discounted products, training and promotional tools, with the combination of direct selling and building a business through mlm. It also promotes advertising and retail selling of the products. One thing I like about the company I joined is although a very new business, the group which includes me is looking at better ways of buildig a structure of business opportunities. One of those strategies being implemented is corporate advertising where each marketing professional (you when you join) gets a share of the warm leads. The market now is not like it was 5 years ago. We are constantly looking for smarter more effective ways to grow and that is best done as a team. Many companies don't encourage you to use the parent company logos or advertising the parent company. In todays climate this is old school thinking. As long as the company guidelines are adhered to and everything is done in good faith then the promotion is up to your imagination. Many companies nowadays have improved support, training and back office applications so check out whats on offer. Some have free trial periods, use the trial to investigate whats its about and whats on offer. You need to have a small budget but keep track of your expenses as you don't want to be spending money on maketing that is not effective. All these points considered, your on your way.
