Marketing the Product
You have now developed your plan for the next 12 months and decided that you need exposure, but how do you go about marketing your product or service. Part of your plan incorporates ideas to get personal exposure. There are several ways to get exposure but the one discussed here is personal exposure. Venues include • Markets • Shoes • Expos • Temporary shows in large shopping centres But to do this you need to be professional. When developing a plan to get that personal exposure, consider • Location in the venue chosen • Type/theme of venue • Timing – busy period for passing traffic • Presentation of the display to get the passing traffic attention • Catering for the potential customers need By considering these points before you start, gives you the edge to have potentially volumes of targeted traffic within a relatively short period of time. Before you get started ensure that you have • Appropriate insurance for what you are presenting and where it is being presented • If food and/or taste testing is involved, make sure you comply with any health standards and legislative requirements applicable for the country you are demonstrating in.
