What is a multi level market?

A multi level market business opportunity is a growing trend on how we do business nowadays. I like to buy through a multi level market as I can buy at wholesale prices, over the internet and it gets delivered to my door. But lets look at some ways we buy products or services:

Buy retail - you go to the counter and buy an item or service

Direct selling - you buy from the company direct or from party plans such as Avon

Mail Order - similar to Direct selling but it comes through the mail.

Multi-level marketing (mlm) - is setting up a business organisation where any person can be part of it. They use the product and then promote the product to sponser other people to do the same. Within this organisation, each person is an independant business owner. Not all people want to be part of the business opportunity but hats okay as many mlm groups want customers too.

The best thing about a good mlm business opportunity is that you do not need large amounts of cash to buy in. The one I am in costs me under AU$30 and I just buy the product. The rest of the time I spend sponsoring, training and mentoring those in my downline so they learn and hopefully continuously improve on marketing strategies. But we do it as a team.

Note: MLM is often associated with direct selling or mail order.

A good multi level marketing system will have the members sponsor, train and mentor those in the team below. The support system is sound and provides guidance to the new member so that they can grow their business.

Listen to them. You cannot make a person buy a product or join unless they want to. But you can listen and direct your questions. When you do then sponsor someone, you must then teach that person how to sponsor, train and mentor others.

This is the beinning of a large successful mlm organisation. This is how the down line effect works

You have joined, now you:

Sponsor 1 (S1) - you teach and assist them to sponsor others

SI then sponsor S2 - S1 teaches/assists them, you mentor both

S2 the sponsors S3 - S2 teaches S3, S1 mentors both and you assist and provide guidance to all levels

You are now teaching to duplicate, thus passing on knowledge, how to network, how to market and most of all communication and 'teamwork' giving support to all levels. You only need to do this 3 levels deep as your downline should then be mentoring their downline.You can do this with time and effort, you don't need alot of money. But you need a good product.
