Re-train your brain and you will succeed

For years we have eaten the same and it is hard to change habits. If you re-train your brain to eat when you are hungary and only eat enough to be content, you will be on the road to success. Not over eating or eating for emotive/comfort reasons is a sure way to succeed but you need to re-train your brain to do it and stay positive. Not n easy task but it can be done.

I found positive thinking and a range of non food related distractions worked for me. Plus making sure that the body had enough of the essential food to be nourished properly.

A friend who is on long term medication, developed a side effect of being unable to shift the weight that he had gained since starting the medications, 10 years ago. His metabolic rate seemed to have slowed considerably. He visited dieticians and other medical professionals, reviewing his lifestyle with limited success, as he eats healthy. If we eat when we are hungry, the body assumes that there is plenty of food and increases our metabolic rate, producing more energy and not storing fat.
